Dar Al Fouad Hospital in Egypt

Dar Al Fouad Hospital is a tertiary medical center specializing in cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and organ transplants. It is based in Cairo and has a 142-bed hospital there and outpatient clinics in Kuwait. SEDCO Holding Company owns 25.8% of Dar Al Fouad, making it the company's second-largest shareholder.

In February 1992, the idea of developing a world-class medical care facility in Egypt with unique and high-quality medical services arose. The building phase began in July 1996, with Egyptian, American, and British construction and consultancy organizations serving as consultants.

Dar Al Fouad Hospital was Egypt's first healthcare provider to be accredited by the Joint Commission International, regarded as the world's "gold standard" for healthcare excellence.

Patients can receive medical and surgical care at Dar Al Fouad Hospital (DAFH). DAFH also works with medical institutes such as the Cleveland Clinic in the United States.

There are 19 SICU beds, a radiotherapy unit, a chemotherapy unit, a short stay facility (10 beds), VIP clinics, and a radiotherapy unit in the building.

Dar Al Fouad is currently expanding to meet surging demand for its services, with bone marrow transplants, orthopedic procedures, and outpatient visits all on the rise.

Following the success of its first facility, the brand has decided to invest in its second, Nasr City Hospital. The 168-bed hospital in Cairo is made up of three basement levels, a ground floor, and an eight-story tower. The building will include a five-star hospital with five operating rooms and 200 physician clinics.

The company has its own DAFH Training Centre, which trains employees to world-class standards. Non-degree educational options and training programs that meet international standards are available through the center.

Dar Al Fouad is also developing a cost-effective pricing plan to keep healthcare costs down. To expand its customer base, it is building specific market channels to reach out to sports groups, syndicate members, and local communities and offer promotional benefits on examination fees, labs, and scanning services.

Dar Al Fouad is now reaching out to an Egypt-wide audience after rapidly gaining traction in Cairo thanks to fantastic customer service and excellent patient outcomes. Dar Al Fouad is also developing a cost-effective pricing plan to keep healthcare costs down.
