Awards and Recognition

• The hospital was given the title of “Best Hospital in Germany” by the magazine "Die Woche". The hospital has received this award for the fourth year in a row. The main reason for this success is that the hospital focuses on patient satisfaction and continuously tries to improve its services.
• The Federal Association of Clinical Diabetes Institutions (BVKD) has awarded the Clinic for Diabetology and Nutritional Medicine at the Bürgerhospital as one of the leading treatment facilities in Germany.
• The Bürgerhospital Frankfurt and the Clementine Children's Hospital achieved several GOLD levels in the "Clean Hands Campaign". Only four hospitals in the whole of Hesse have this award.
• In a patient survey conducted by TK, the Bürgerhospital Frankfurt achieved "excellent results" in the categories of treatment results, general satisfaction, medical-nursing care, information and communication as well as organization and accommodation.

Accreditation and Certification

• Bürgerhospital hospital Frankfurt is among the first hospitals in Germany to achieve full international accreditation, from the Joint Commission International (JCI). 
• The German Society of Cardiology - Cardiovascular Research (DGK) certifies that the Chest Pain Unit in the Bürgerhospital meets the criteria of the DGK for "Chest Pain Units". The Clinic for Pneumology, Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine therefore carries the award "Chest Pain Unit – DGK certified". 
• The Bürgerhospital Frankfurt is one of the ten PeriZert-certified Perinatal Centers Level 1 in Germany and specializes in the care of high-risk pregnant women as well as premature or sick newborns. 
• The hospital has the ISO certification for medical devices and patient care
